KEYANNA DAVIS, B.S.W., R.S.S.W
Keyanna is a first generation Jamaican-Canadian who was raised in North York. She attended Seneca College earning a Social Service Worker diploma. She graduated with distinction from Booth University College with a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and is currently working towards her Masters in Social Work. When Keyanna is not working or in class, she is most likely watching a comedy special on Netflix.
Keyanna prides herself on being a passionate, motivated + resilient social worker. She values the equality of all persons through the use of an Anti-Oppressive and Anti-Black Racism lens. She implements a variety of modalities and approaches that focus on the client's best interest. Keyanna provides a culturally affirming safe space for her clients that is mutually supportive + solution-focused.
Thanks to her years of experience working in various sectors such as developmental services, addictions, mental health + gerontology, Keyanna demonstrates an effective + tailored clinical approach. Her infectious personality facilitates strong + genuine therapeutic alliances with her clients which is a strong indicator of positive treatment outcomes. Keyanna commitment to social justice drives her to advocate for the change she wants to see in the social work field, and she plans to do so one individual/family/couple at a time.
