SABRINA HARVEY BSoc. Sc., B.Ed.,M.S.W., R.S.W
Sabrina’s professional journey spans several systems, including criminal justice, education + most recently the child welfare. Exposure to the glaring inequities in these oppressive institutions cemented her desire to help those, traditionally marginalized + disproportionately impacted by these systems, to conquer feelings of disempowerment and their inability to achieve the life they desire.
As a therapist, Sabrina’s goal is to provide a safe space for clients to unpack their trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem + mental health challenges without the judgement or stigmatization they fear from both outside, and within their community.
In addition to her Masters degree in Social Work, Sabrina has a Bachelor Social Science and Bachelor of Education degree.
She believes that true healing begins with a recognition of the whole individual, that is, the mind, body + spirit. In her practice she utilizes a holistic + collaborative approach that recognizes that clients are the experts in their own lives, and that they have the capacity to successfully manage the challenges of life + reach their full potential.
